Another beautiful day in East Sooke. The area features many amazing beaches, which you might find you have all to yourselves! A beautiful maple marks a park entrance. A peaceful, misty morning. One of many gorgeous ocean vistas that can be seen in the area. The Niagara Falls hiking trail at the spectacular Goldstream Park. Home to many astounding old-growth ancient trees. The trailhead to Avatar Grove, home of an ancient old-growth forest and Canada's Gnarliest Tree! Quimper Park at Whiffen Spit, in the town of Sooke. A very popular walking area. A beautiful old arbutus tree at Witty's Lagoon. There are two separate hiking trails available at the beautiful Witty's Lagoon. The more popular one starts from the Nature Centre. My Chosen Cafe, a popular local eatery in the neighbouring community of Metchosin. One of many beautiful trails. Trails range from very easy to challenging! A lovely walk through the forest in East Sooke Park. The forest floor showcases many interesting plants. Local gem called the Smokin' Tuna Cafe, a lovely waterfront eatery located near East Sooke Park. A beautiful, crisp fall day on the popular Galloping Goose Trail. A lovely viewpoint in East Sooke Park, just before the start of the Coast Trail. A popular swimming area on those hot summer days. There are a few beautiful walking trails, too. Victoria's Inner Harbour is a lovely place to visit. Stroll along the waterfront, explore the shops, stop for a bite to eat, and discover what the city has to offer. Hatley Castle... some say it's haunted! Madrona Cottage is close to several wonderful and scenic beaches. The Sooke Marine Boardwalk and Rotary Pier, at Ed Macgregor Park, a landscaped and public waterfront park located in the town of Sooke.
